Tickets on Sale August 12th for Fall 2010 District Sample Sale in Georgetown
Tickets for the Fall 2010 District Sample Sale will go on sale Thursday, August 12th at 10:00 am exclusively at www.districtsamplesale.com. General Admission tickets are $40 and VIP tickets are $100.
The September 16th event will be held Thursday, September 16th from 5:30 – 9:30 pm in Georgetown at 3336 M Street. The George Washington University Medical Center’s Mammovan, a program providing mobile digital mammograms to women in need throughout the metro-D.C. area, will be the event's charity beneficiary.
Founded in the fall of 2006 by Mary Schmidt Amons, Shannon Haley, Liberty Jones, Barbara Martin and Jayne Sandman, the District Sample Sale has become on of the most coveted tickets in Washington, D.C. Known as “the season’s most fashionable charitable event,” the twice-annual event has raised over $187,000 for its past local women’s (fall) and children’s (spring) chosen charities. Supporting DC area charities has been the cornerstone of the DSS Foundations’ mission.
The District Sample Sale hosts over 700 women from up and down the east coast for a night of designer bargain shopping. Over 20 of Washington’s best designer clothing and shoe boutiques liquidate their end-of-season wares up to 90% off, plus many sell current season designer frocks at DSS-exclusive pricing.
