Guests will not be missing any meals. While Fahrenheit, the American regional cuisine restaurant in The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown is turning into a private venue for events and meetings, the hotel bar and lounge will soon be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

As general manager, Grant C. Dipman told The Georgetown Dish, “Our goal is a boutique experience while offering the same level of amenities as our larger hotels.” Already booked through fall, the Fahrenheit space is in high demand.

“When Degrees Bistro brasserie opens November 1, we’ll have the same quality, service and food thanks to Fahrenheit's French-trained executive chef Quang Doung."

The fire-inspired contemporary decor (as well as the names ‘Fahrenheit ‘and ‘Degrees’) are a nod to the hotel’s unique facility, a restored 100-year old brick factory built around a 130-foot incinerator. And Dipman plans to continue that theme. “We’ll use similar colors, adding red leather banquette seating and bistro tables." And the menu? “Traditional bistro fare including French onion soup, beef tartare, steak and pomme frites, and apple pie.”
