Coffee & Conversation at Addison/Ripley

As part of their continuing series of Saturday morning artist’s talks Coffee & Conversation, Addison/Ripley is offering a conversation between exhibiting artist and digital pioneer, Jonathan Monaghan and gallery owner, Christopher Addison.
Power Trip is Monaghan’s first exhibition at Addison/Ripley. On exhibition are photographic examples of the artist’s work as as well as animated video presentations. Here is an opportunity to tour the works and to get an inside look at highly inventive digital programing by a master practitioner. We will be speaking about his own practice, as well as his visions for the future of all things digital in art.
The program begins with coffee and bagels at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 4th in the Addison/Ripley Gallery space at 1670 Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown. Seating will be first come, first served.
